Bombay Special Briyani
Ingredients
- Bombay Briyani Masala (Shan)
- Dahi(Yogurt) 200 g
- 2medium potato chop,3 medium size tomato & Onions,2 tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste.
- Basmati rice 750 g




Steps
- Soak the Basmati for 40 min and keep aside meanwhile
- Fry 1/2 of the chop onions in hot pan until Golden Brown and take out in a bowl for later used.
- Heat the pan with oil and fry the remaining onion till it turn golden and add tomatoes and fry until the oil separates.
- Add meat ,garlic paste, ginger paste , yogurt,potatoes and Shan Bombay Briyani masala mix. Stir fry for 10 minutes .Add Water, Chicken/lamp, Cover cook on low heat until the meat is tender, then increase heat and stir fry till the oil separates.
- Separately: In 15 cups / 3 liters of boiling water ,stir in 3 tps. of salt and soaked rice.Boil rice until 3/4 cooked.Remove and drain thoroughly.
- Spread some portion of the rice in a pot and pour meat curry and Top with some portion of rice and add the golden brown fried onions and repeat the process till the items are over.
- Cover Pot and cook on low heat intil rice is fully cooked (5-10 min).Mix before serving.
